Job Description:
The Portable Measuring Arm Programmer/Operator will program and measure parts to assist production in making conforming parts.
Job Responsibilities:
- Report directly to the Quality Supervisor.
- Program Romer Arm for measuring various fabricated metal parts.
- Use Romer Arm to measure various parts.
- Create reports for measured parts using Polyworks.
- Work with production personnel to identify nonconformances and suggest changes.
- Measure dimensions of products to verify conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such as rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers.
- Understand customer prints –dimensions, features, written notes, etc.
- Communicate and work well with teammates to problem solve.
Qualifications:
- Ability to read manufacturing fabrication blueprints.
- Ability to program Romer Arm using Polyworks.
- Excellent grasp of GD&T.
