Position Title: Registered Nurse - Maternal & Child Services (Obstetrics) Department
Location: Upland Hills Health - Dodgeville Hospital Campus
Role & Department: Registered Nurse on the Obstetrics Unit
Hours & Shift: Part-time (.6 FTE) evening/night shift position, 12 hour scheduled shifts with shift times of 6 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., 2 - 12 hour shifts per week, every 4th weekend and a holiday rotation
Role Responsibilities:
- Will be responsible for assessing the spiritual, emotional and physiological needs of the antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and nursery patients; and planning the nursing care to meet these needs
- The OB Registered Nurse is responsible to see that the plan of care is carried out through performance and/or leadership of subordinate personnel
- Continued interest in professional growth through continuing education, in-services, participation in professional organizations, and involvement in health promotional activities
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Must be licensed and hold a current registration as a Registered Nurse in the State of Wisconsin or in the process of becoming licensed
- Prior acute care nursing experience and prior experience in labor & delivery, post partum care is highly preferred
- Current BLS certification
- NRP/BLS & ACLS certifications required or willingness to obtain
- The ideal candidate will be willing to cross train to other nursing departments to assist as needed
- Outstanding verbal and written communications
- Prior EPIC knowledge is beneficial

Employment Bonus: This position is eligible for “up to a $5,000.00 Employment Bonus” which is prorated based on the FTE. Bonus payments will be made based on the FTE schedule below:
1.0 FTE $5,000
.9 FTE $4,500
.8 FTE $4,000
.7 FTE $3,500
.6 FTE $3,000
.5 FTE $2,500
The Employment Bonus will be paid out at set times during the first 3 years of employment in 6 separate equal installments. Those respective bonus payments will be made at the following periods: after completion of 6 months, 1 year, 18 months, 2 years, 30 months and a final payment at the 3 year anniversary. This Employment Bonus will be paid for Registered Nurse positions who are hired at a .5 FTE employment status or greater. The Registered Nurse must continue to be employed at a .5 FTE status or greater at the time each of the bonus payments are due to be eligible to receive them.
