Job Requirements ACLS BLS PALS COVID Vaccine Required Schedule Information 12 hour shifts, 0600 - 1800; 1800 - 0600 Weekends would be rare Holidays would be rare No call or standby requirement Float to MedSurg if the ICU is closed Unit Specific Information Evening / night shift, 3x12s Additional Details of beds : 3-Beds Ratios : 1 RN to 2-3 patients Common diagnoses / Types of patients : Afib-RVR, DKA, Alcohol withdrawal, Covid pneumonia Experience or 'Must have' skills : Titrate drips, cardiac monitoring, management of respiratory support systems Are RNs required to titrate drips? : Yes Common titratable & / or set rate drips : cardizem and insulin Charge Nurse / House Supervisor : Yes Are there nurse aids on this unit / Ratios : No Hospitalist or Intensivist in house : No RT in ICU 24 / 7 : No RT Equipment (vents, Cpap, BiPap, etc) : Available Is there tele on this unit?
