What are the responsibilities and job description for the Acting/Voice Teacher position at Upland Music Academy?
Upland Music Academy is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Acting /Voice Teacher who is interested in part time work. We are Upland's premier choice for music lessons and have over 475 students registered with us. We care about our employees and make sure that you are happy and comfortable!
We are looking for someone who is available Tuesdays from 4 pm to 8 pm and possibly Wednesdays at the same times! Our Acting classes are group acting classes with maximum 10 kids per hour ages 7 - 13 yrs old.
We will consider those who have:
- A college degree or ability to act at the professional level.
- Availability as mentioned above
- Availability to teach group classes
- Prior teaching experience.
- The ability to work with a variety of ages and levels, with young children a plus.
- Strong soft skills such as possessing friendly communication skills and comfortable speaking to parents to debrief after each lesson.
- Excellent attendance and ability to be on time. If you need to miss teaching days often (due to gigs or tours), this position is not for you.
- The ability to consider this as a medium or long-term position. If you are looking for a short-term or temporary job, this position is not for you.
- Legal status to work in the US.
