Director of Med Surg / Tele

Location : Southern California

Position Type : Permanent

Facility : 120-bed Acute Care Hospital

Base Salary - USD $136,739 to $198,286

Qualifications :

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting
  • Minimum 3 years of Acute Care Nursing Management experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree required / Master’s Degree preferred
  • Current license to practice professional nursing in the state of California

Responsibilities :

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Medical-Surgical / Telemetry units
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
  • Lead and mentor nursing staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance patient care and safety
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively to optimize unit performance
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve overall patient outcomes
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, addressing any issues promptly
  • Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes
