Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Nursing
Master's degree in Nursing
Washington State Registered Nurse License (or Compact license) upon hire
3 years of related clinical experience in area of specialty
Certification in nursing core specialty upon hire
Formal educator experience
Leadership experience
Responsibilities :
Develop and deliver educational programs and training for nursing staff in acute care settings
Design curriculum and course materials for adult education
Assess the educational needs of nursing staff and create tailored learning plans
Serve as a mentor and resource for clinical staff
Evaluate the effectiveness of educational interventions and revise programs as needed
Collaborate with clinical leadership to ensure alignment with organizational goals and standards - Stay current with best practices and advancements in nursing education and acute care
Skills :
Strong knowledge of adult education principles and course development
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lead and inspire nursing staff
Proficiency in curriculum development and instructional design
Strong clinical skills in acute care nursing
Organizational and time management skills
Experience :
Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in acute care nursing
Proven formal educator experience
