Custodian

Job Description

UPLIFT Desk is looking for an experienced and reliable Custodian to ensure all common areas of our warehouses are kept in neat and orderly condition.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Punctual, self-motivated and able to work independently
• Proficient in written and spoken English to understand written and verbal directions and communicate safety concerns
• Able to bend, kneel, squat, reach, pull, and lift objects up to 65 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• Familiar with janitorial equipment and best practices
• Valid driver’s license; must be 25 years of age or older to qualify for company auto insurance policy
• Reliable personal vehicle for travel between multiple company facilities (mileage reimbursement provided)

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 years of experience in custodial work
• Flexible and willing to perform warehouse general labor tasks as required
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• General maintenance experience

What You’ll Do

• Clean and maintain building interior common areas, to include break areas, restrooms, conference rooms, and warehouse
• Clean exterior common areas, to include building entrances, sidewalks and grounds
• Restock supplies in restrooms, break rooms and common areas
• Maintain janitorial supplies and equipment
• Other general labor duties as required

Position Details

• Compensation: $18/hr
• Type: Full-time
• Employee Status: Regular
• Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm, 40 hours per week (Overtime Available)
• Location: Austin, Texas
