As a Showroom Sales Specialist in our Chicago Showroom, you’ll be the go-to resource for customers, guiding them through the furniture selection process and ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish. We are looking for candidates with experience in sales and experience handling customer interactions in a customer facing role. At UPLIFT Desk, your focus will be on providing the best customer experience possible by resolving customer concerns in our showroom or via phone, chat, and email. On our showroom floor, you'll be responsible for guiding customers through purchases and providing educated product recommendations based on their needs. You will play a critical role in ensuring a seamless and satisfactory customer experience with Uplift. Required Qualifications
- 2 years of relevant experience in a customer facing role including customer service and sales
- Learn quickly and exhibit tech savviness; your curiosity and passion mean that you can get up to speed and have an impact from day one
- Strong work ethic with a high level of empathy, motivation, and enthusiasm to continually improve
- Communicate, both verbally and written, in a friendly, professional, and empathetic manner
- Can multi-task quickly and efficiently, prioritize responsibilities and thrive in a dynamic setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Previous CRM or inventory management experience (examples include Hubspot, Netsuite, Zendesk, Salesforce)
- Adaptable to change and actively seek feedback and incorporate it into your work style
- Ambition to pursue a leadership role within the team, with an eye toward career development.
What You’ll Do
- Greet and engage customers in the showroom, creating a welcoming and informative experience.
- Provide personalized product recommendations and demonstrations tailored to customer needs and preferences.
- Develop a thorough understanding of UPLIFT Desk's product range to educate customers on features, benefits, and customizations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing showroom environment that reflects the UPLIFT Desk brand.
- Support showroom events by assisting with setup, customer interactions, and follow-ups.
- Answer a high volume of inquiries via phone, chat, email, and in-person interactions, ensuring prompt and professional assistance.
- Troubleshoot customer issues, process warranty claims, and handle concerns related to damaged or missing items.
- Review orders, answer questions, and make changes based on customer needs
- Understand return, warranty, and shipping policies so that you can assist customers in an efficient manner with accurate information
- Identify, document, and solve a wide variety of potential customer complaints within standard operating procedural guidelines

Position Details
- Compensation: $23/Hour
- Type: Full-time
- Employee Status: Regular
- Work Schedule: Monday - Saturday, 9am-6pm, 40 hours per week with non consecutive days off
