Job Description

As Supply Chain Manager, you will leverage data-driven insights to enhance UPLIFT Desk’s product and service delivery, collaborating cross-functionally across the organization and externally with suppliers and freight-forwarders. Your expertise in supply chain management will drive efficiency in production, inventory optimization, and transportation strategies, while continuously improving processes and reducing costs. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a “can-do” attitude—equally comfortable analyzing data in spreadsheets as they are engaging on the warehouse floor. This position reports to the Vice President of Logistics.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, Finance, Computer Science or Data Analytics
  • 5-7 years of relevant supply chain experience of increasing responsibility, with 2 years of supervisory experience
  • Advanced spreadsheet skils and fluency with Warehouse Management Systems, ERP systems, demand forecasting systems and data analytics
  • Understanding of all stages of the supply chain, from sourcing to distribution.
  • Demonstrated success leading a team of up to 10 people

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Netsuite and Blue Ridge Demand planning
  • Advanced degree such as an MBA or M.S., or advanced training in data analytics
  • Certification through ASCM or other relevant industry group, such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM)
  • Experience at a growth-oriented ecommerce company
  • Prior history of working with international partners
  • What You’ll Do

  • Lead, manage and drive accountability while supervising a team of purchasing and supply chain professionals
  • Own demand forecasting, purchasing, imports and vendor relations
  • Use Netsuite, BlueRidge and other platforms to gather, integrate, review, validate, analyze and report data to drive actions and insights throughout the supply chain
  • Liaise with freight-forwarders and drayage companies to coordinate the delivery of inbound inventory
  • Communicate with overseas partners regarding manufacturing, quality issues, product changes, ordering and delivery of our products
  • Partner with vendors to continuously improve service levels and cost
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with internal stakeholders in Product Development, Warehousing and Sales
  • Foster excellent communication at all levels of the organization regarding inventory issues, stock levels and inbound deliveries
  • Report information and present strategic options and recommendations to executive leadership
  • Continuously improve processes and procedures related to supply chain management
