Primary Purpose :
The Athletic Trainer will work with medical professionals and coaches to evaluate athletes' condition, establish plans for diet, fitness, and treatment, and track progress towards health and fitness goals. You should be motivated to assist athletes, coaches, and families realize their potential and possess a strong understanding of sports-related injuries and treatments.

Duties / Responsibilities :
Injury Prevention and Assessment :
- Develop and implement training programs to minimize injury risks.
- Evaluate athletes' physical conditions and identify potential vulnerabilities.
- Conduct pre-participation physical screenings.

Administrative Duties :
Education, Experience, and / or Certification(s)
Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training, Sports Medicine, or a related field (Master's preferred).
Three to five years of experience as an Athletic Trainer in high school, collegiate, professional
Board of Certification (BOC) certification for Athletic Trainers.
Required Skills / Abilities :
Tools / Equipment Used : Exercise equipment and devices including stationary bike, pulleys, weights, whirlpool, paraffin bath, ultrasound equipment, and cold packs; automated external defibrillator (AED) Posture : Prolonged standing; frequent kneeling / squatting, bending / stooping, pushing / pulling, and twisting
Motion : Continual walking; moderate reaching
Lifting : Frequently moderate lifting or carrying (15-44 pounds)
Environment : Work outside (exposure to sun, heat, cold, and inclement weather) and inside; exposure to noise; exposure to biological hazards, bacteria, and communicable diseases; frequent network wide travel.
Mental Demands : Maintain emotional control under stress; frequent prolonged and irregular hours
Starting Salary : $65,000
