Primary Purpose :
The Teacher Incentive & Pathways Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst will collaborate closely with the Talent Development and Pathways team and the Academic Data Analytics Team to conduct analyses related to our teacher incentive and pathways program, utilizing both internal and external data sources. The analyst will support central office, schools, and senior leadership by enabling them to make informed decisions based on the data provided insights. This role includes assisting central office and school staff through guidance, training, and documentation, as needed. Additionally, the analyst will develop an in-depth knowledge of Uplift's data model and processes, becoming a subject matter expert in these areas.
Duties / Responsibilities :
The BI Analyst resides in the People Team department, which includes Talent Development, Talent Acquisition, and Talent Management team. The Analyst provides support to stakeholders across the organization, as it relates to our teacher incentive and pathways program, with our primary focus being campus-based instructional staff. As a member of the Talent Development & Pathways Team, we collaborate with each group within the various CMO departments to produce tools and analytics to best support our teacher incentive and pathways program.
- Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and evaluate stakeholder requests to determine needs, with a focus on our Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) program, Uplift performance bonus program, and other pathways program.
- Support / train stakeholders on effective use of data systems / tools and interpreting of data from assessments and other data collection tools.
- Build interactive dashboards as a means for stakeholders to interact with data and analysis.
- Develop algorithms to identify students, teachers, and leaders needing assistance in our pathway program.
- Work in concert with the Uplift Academic Data Analytics Team in the structuring of data through building tables, views, stored procedures, and SQL queries.
- Work closely with Academic Data Analytics Team to evaluate best data analysist strategies based on established practices and protocols.
- Use data to monitor the results of assessment data and assist stakeholders with analysis of the results and assist with the design, implementation, and measurement of key tracking and monitoring metrics.
- Stay up to date with state and local incentive program requirements and assist in the preparation of compliance data to ensure program adherence.
- Participate in planning, needs analysis and risk assessment; consults with teachers and leaders on how to best support their data use through the effective use of technology.
- Keep abreast of all new developments in areas of data analysis and disseminate necessary information to all stakeholders.
- Proactively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders to analyze information needs and functional requirements.

Starting Salary : $70,000
