What are the responsibilities and job description for the Weekend Direct Support Professional position at Uplift Supported Care LLC?
Uplift Supported Care LLC is seeking for motivated and energetic individuals who is looking for a rewarding position that aims to care for the intellectually disabled community. We are looking for individuals that are kind, caring, loving, and understanding; who is keen on making a positive impact in the life of our special needs adult individuals.
This position will be a part time position for Sunday 8am to 4pm. Schedule can be flexible, We provide 24 hour care 7 days a week so you will be able to pick up more hours during Saturday mornings and weekday mornings and evenings if you like depending on availability.
This is a very rewarding position that allows the staff member to assist the special need clients with their daily tasks.
Job duties include but not limited to are as follows:
- Take clients to fun activities such as movies, going out to eat, bowling, minigolf etc.
- Assist with clients with daily hygiene.
- Take clients to and from their place of employment if needed
- Take clients to doctor appointments if needed
- Take clients to other appointments such as hair appointments, mani/pedi appointments etc.
- Hang out with clients and watch tv with them and play video games, do puzzles, board games, card games etc.
- Assist clients with laundry
- Assist clients with light cooking and meal prep
- Medication Administration
- Light house keeping
- Assist clients with grocery shopping
- Record Keeping
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
Experience working with people with developmental disabilities is a plus, but Uplift Supported Care LLC is willing to provide training to you.
Drives license required.
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour. Pay based on experience.
