We are looking for a Weekend Shipping Operator to join our team in Mills River, NC.

The Shipping Operator position is essential to the company, and you will join an experienced team who work hard every day with plenty of variety in your daily tasks. You will be working with our colleagues in many departments to boost their productivity. Welcome to the team! - Joe G Shelton, Material Flow Supervisor

What you will do

Check in and check out drivers
Work in load management and monitor emails
Ship finished products and unload inbound freight
Organize and locate stocks and wrap pallets and operate forklift and clamp truck safely
Perform other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor

Working schedule : Sat, Sun, Mon, Tue. 6a-4p

Who you are

You have any combination of education and experience equivalent to High School education and 1-2 years of work experience in an industrial setting

You have previous work experience in paper / paper converting industry, you are experienced in Slitting / Finishing of pressure sensitive laminates or experience working with web-handling equipment beneficial

You are able to work well within a team. You have well-developed problem-solving skills, including the ability and willingness to apply a systematic approach to the process

You should be computer-literate and you should have a basic mechanical knowledge

You have oral and written communication skills and the ability to understand and adhere to written work instructions
