    • About the Position :

  • Help build our new newborn medicine practice in our UPMC Carlisle Hospital.
  • Pediatric Physician Assistant will provide care to infants and children.
  • Perform well-baby and child physical exams and access for illness, order diagnostic tests, create treatment plans, and administer treatments.
  • Communicate with parents and guardians regarding the state and treatment of their children.
  • Work alongside team of skilled physicians, neonatal nurse practitioners, and allied health staff.

    • Job Qualifications :

  • Education : Graduate of an Accredited Pediatric Physician Assistant program with Board Certification (ANCC), BCLS, PALS (ACLS and NALS optional). Experience in Pediatrics in either : inpatient or critical care. Must be eligible to apply for a DEA number. Must have current CPR / BLS certification.

  • Team Orientation : Ability to work collaboratively, provide personalized patient care, and demonstrate clinical outcomes.
  • Licensure : Eligible for licensure in the state of Pennsylvania.
