The Division of Interventional Radiology at UPMC / University of Pittsburgh is currently recruiting a full–time academic Interventional Radiologist. The IR Division provides care at multiple core academic institutions including UPMC Presbyterian–Shadyside, UPMC Mercy, and Magee–Women's Hospital of UPMC in addition to providing clinical support to other UPMC hospitals in the greater Pittsburgh area. Applicants must be board–eligible or board–certified by the American Board of Radiology or equivalent and eligible for unrestricted licensure in Pennsylvania. Interventional radiology fellowship training and eligibility for CAQ in VIR or equivalent is required.
UPMC IR performs a full spectrum of interventional radiology procedures and maintains active outpatient clinics at multiple sites collaborating with our strong oncologic, hepatobiliary, transplant, trauma, vascular, and pediatric interventional radiology services. The IR Division has worked hard to build and maintain excellent clinical and academic relationships with Hepatology, Transplant Surgery, Liver Surgery, Trauma services, and Oncology in affiliation with the Hillman Cancer Center.

- Mix of clinical, teaching, academic, and on–call IR responsibilities
- Clinical assignments will be distributed between the four core academic hospitals (including two Level 1 trauma centers) with or without potential service in our greater Pittsburgh Clinical Division facilities based on clinical need, candidate experience, and expertise
- Rotating shift schedule
- 12–14 weekends per year
- Call 1 : 5 or better
- Position is primarily on–site
