What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full or Part-Time Radiologist with Breast Imaging Experience or Fellowship - Altoona, PA position at UPMC West Central PA?
UPMC Altoona, located in west central PA, is seeking a Radiologist to join our world class health system. Candidate can be a general radiologist interested in 50% breast imaging or a fellowship trained breast imager. We have both full time and part time positions. Must have an MD or equivalent, be BC or BE in Radiology with the ability to obtain an unrestricted PA license and MQSA certified.
Opportunity Details
Mammography locations in hospital and 2 outpatient centers
Equipment includes 5 Hologic Dimensions 3D tomosynthesis units
Procedures include Breast MRI, Ultrasound, Stereotactic breast biopsies and sentinel lymph node biopsies
Average 20,000 mammograms / year
ACR Breast Imaging Center of Excellence and MQSA certified
Work closely with breast surgeons, pathologists, medical and radiation oncologists, and navigator to provide comprehensive breast care
Flexible Scheduling
Join a group of Radiologists including Neuroradiology / MSK / Body Imaging, Mammographers, Interventional Radiologists, Nuclear Medicine / PET Radiologists, Physician extenders and nurses
Option for an academic appointment if desired

McKesson PACs and Powerscibe which converts to i–Site. Cerner is the current inpatient EMR and EPIC, outpatient EMR. Converting to all EPIC by end of 2025.
