The service consists of 2 full–time physicians and 4 APPs (CRNPs / PAs) who provide inpatient care and collaborate with ER, specialists and primary care physicians. Opportunity Details Patient load can be 8 –18 adult inpatients per day from admission through discharge. Work schedule is 7 days on, 7 days off, 12–hour shifts, with nights covered by APPs and UPMC telemedicine. NO CALL responsibilities. No OB or peds. No procedures and no ICU responsibilities. UPMC Bedford is an acute care, 40–bed community hospital with medical, surgical, cardiac care and telemetry services, with a variety of diagnostic, treatment and rehab services. The medical staff is augmented by specialists who hold regular office hours in Bedford County, and provide inpatient and telemedicine consults.
