Job Responsibilities:
- Perform duties in line with system-wide competencies and behaviors.
- Report equipment malfunctions.
- Establish effective communication strategies.
- Maintain professional and respectful relationships.
- Assist with unit activities (e.g., responding to call lights, passing meal trays, transporting patients).
Core Nursing Assistant Duties:
- Assist with ADLs (bathing, feeding, transporting, toileting, ambulating).
- Perform point-of-care testing, monitor vital signs, and assist with patient care equipment.
- Maintain a safe and organized environment.
- Acquire and distribute supplies and equipment.
Communication & Teamwork:
- Communicate clearly with the healthcare team.
- Understand cultural diversity and support workplace safety.
- Develop productive working relationships and demonstrate accountability.
Patient Care:
- Provide direct patient care as directed by the RN.
- Ensure patient safety and cleanliness.
- Deliver patient nourishments and mail.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Provide diversional activities and document in medical records.
- Complete clerical functions and comply with safety policies.
- Respond to emergent situations and provide companionship as needed.
- Support departmental changes and assume responsibility for assignments.
Salary : $18 - $27
