UPMC and Altoona Crisis Services are looking for a Casual Crisis Clinician to join the team! Altoona Crisis Services is Blair County’s premiere crisis program. With expansion program in mobile and other departments, as well as a brand-new Consumer milieu we are looking for highly skilled caring professionals to join our team.
Position Purpose:
- Assist in consumer and clinical services under the Crisis Program Coordinator.
- Respond to mobile crisis calls in Blair County.
- Answer questions, obtain clinical information, schedule evaluations, and document duties.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload for the shift.
- Obtain clinical information for medical records.
- Provide supportive counseling to promote stability.
- Work independently in crisis settings.
- Support consumers and arrange referral services.
- Collaborate with Clin II for case consultations.
- Complete documentation and paperwork.
- Conduct face-to-face crisis assessments.
- Respond to telephone calls from consumers and community supports.
- Manage crisis situations effectively.
- Complete case reviews.
Salary : $21 - $33
