NOW HIRING HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS 16 YEARS OF AGE AND UP! MUST HAVE A WORK PERMIT AND BE ABLE TO WORK AFTER SCHOOL 3:30PM-7PM AND ON THE WEEKENDS & HOLIDAYS AS NEEDED!
Responsibilities:
- The Dining Assistant is responsible for patient meal service food on assigned units, e.g., menu selections, tray assembly, tray delivery and pick up, special requests and needs, in-between meal food delivery.
- The Dining Assistant is responsible for meeting and maintaining established food service protocols.
- Accountable and responsible for patient meal service food on assigned units, e.g., menu selections, tray assembly, tray delivery and pick up, special requests and needs, in-between meal food delivery.
- Is familiar with dietary restrictions on special, modified diets to ensure optimal food preferences are met within guidelines of diet order limitations and assists dietitian with monitoring of patients who are NPO, on liquid diets or need to have intake recorded.
- Accurately reports information to members of the department team and other members of Washington Health System.
- Completes and demonstrates competency in all technical skills and patient care procedures as delegated according to established Washington Health System Core Dining Assistant Skills & Responsibilities.
Schedule: Rotating daylight and afternoon shifts between 5AM-7PM, including but not limited to 5AM-1:30PM, 5:30AM-2PM, 6AM-2:30PM, 10:30AM- 7PM, and 3:30PM-7PM. Rotating days, holidays, and weekends required.
