What are the responsibilities and job description for the DUI Instructor position at UPMC?
We are hiring a Casual DUI Instructor to support UPMC - Mon Yough DUI Services.
The DUI Instructor is responsible for the instruction of Alcohol Highway Safety School. The incumbent will report to UPMC East Hospital in Monroeville and the McKeesport office from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM and Saturday and Sundays one to two weekends per month. The dress code for this position is business casual. Onsite parking is available at both locations.
The hire for this position must have and maintain Alcohol Highway Safety School Instructor certification from PA DUI Association.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct breath tests, follow testing protocol if positive.
- Adhere to confidentiality laws.
- Teach AHSS per PA DOT/PA DUI Association curriculum, maintain certification.
- Complete required paperwork on time.
- Attend required meetings with UPMC/DUI, PA DUI Association, and others.
- Collect class fees and communicat4e with referral sources.
- Adjust DUI Intervention Group schedule as needed.
