What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family Medicine Specialist position at UPMC?

Clinical time consists of 36 hours of patient-facing time Monday through Friday, with an average of 15 patients per day. Administrative time is allocated at 4 hours per week.
You will have access to resources such as easy referrals to social work, behavioral health, nutritionists, and specialists, as well as in-practice access to diabetic retinal exams read by an Ophthalmologist.
Support from a team of administrative professionals responsible for practice operations will also be available to you.
Mars Medical Center offers a unique opportunity to join a close-knit team of healthcare professionals in a one-location, outpatient-only practice in Pennsylvania. You will have the chance to care for patients ranging from age 18 and up per day, with call shared between this practice and another local Internal Medicine practice.
Onsite resources include EKG and Practice-Based Care Management, while nearby resources include blood draws, cardiac testing, imaging, dexa scans, mammography, x-ray, and sleep studies.
