Responsibilities:
- Cleans and sanitizes patient rooms and bathrooms daily.
- Disposes of trash and replenishes supplies according to proper procedures.
- Moves furniture and other fixtures to dust and mop floor, resets furniture to present an attractive environment for patients and visitors.
- Washes walls in back of sinks and commodes.
- Cleans and disinfects isolation rooms adhering to proper policy and procedures.
- Cleans and disinfects ancillary areas. (Utility and linen rooms, nurses stations, lounges, etc.).
- Cleans and disinfects water fountains, sinks in hallways, telephones, and chair rails.
- Vacuums carpets and damp dusts furniture weekly in office areas.
- Empties trash and uses hand sweeper on carpets daily.
- Understands procedures and properly disposes of infectious waste and trash.
Schedule: 7AM-3:30PM. Must be able to work rotating days, weekends, and holidays. This opportunity will mainly clean on the 4C unit area. May be pulled to other areas/shifts at the needs of the Hospital.
