Responsibilities:
- Answer phone inquiries, investigate specimen status, and direct callers to resources.
- Receive, sort, prepare, and deliver specimens for analysis.
- Show courtesy, respect, and a positive attitude in all work situations.
- Perform routine instrument maintenance and record temperatures if needed.
- Restock supplies and maintain clean storage spaces for all temperature conditions.
- Prepare and replenish instrument reagents and consumables.
- Perform QA/QC procedures and assist with specimen/slide storage and retrieval.
- Check pending work lists, resolve unprocessed work, and decontaminate work areas.
- Clean glassware, test emergency eyewashes/showers, and sort laboratory waste.
- Transport specimens off-site, prepare specimens for testing, and plant specimens in growth media.
Salary : $18 - $27
