Responsibilities:
- Assists in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients and their families, ensuring personalized attention to age-specific needs.
- Effectively gathers and interprets patient information, conducting interviews to address healthcare concerns and provide counseling with available resources.
- Administers prescribed medications, vaccines, and allergy injections, staying informed on immunization updates and changes in flu vaccine guidelines.
- Responsible for sterilizing office equipment and maintaining accurate records of inventory, ensuring timely ordering of stock supplies.
- Performs laboratory duties in compliance with OSHA and CLIA standards, ensuring patient safety and regulatory adherence.
- Identifies educational needs of patients and communicates these to the physician, providing relevant teaching as requested.
- Assists physicians during patient exams and performs specialized procedures, contributing to efficient and effective care.
- Maintains professional competence through continuous education, actively participating in relevant learning experiences and documenting progress.
Salary : $19 - $28
