UPMC Corporate Quality is hiring a Manager Emergency Preparedness to join our team! This role will work standard business hours and will be a hybrid role with onsite work as well as work from home.
Reporting to the Director of Emergency Preparedness, the Manager of Emergency Preparedness is responsible for training, exercises and the plan review/development functions within UPMC Emergency Preparedness. The Manager is responsible for developing and implementing the training and educational program for the UPMC Department of Emergency Preparedness; establishing and maintaining a quality assurance program; and to evaluate the success and impact of these programs. The Manager will support the administrative and operational activities of the department and supervise and evaluate full and part-time staff as requirement.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a multi-year training/education program for UPMC Emergency Preparedness based on a system-wide needs assessment
- Assist with the preparation and administration of the department budget.
- Develop a process for the systematic development, implementation and review of emergency operations plans for the UPMC Corporate Emergency Coordination Center (CECC)
- Participate and assist the Director with meetings, conferences and other activities as requested,
- Assist in the review of situations arising from day-to-day operations within the system related to emergency preparedness or emergency activates
- Represent UPMC Emergency Preparedness local, state and national venues as requested.
- Develop and implement a process for the review of emergency operations plans for the UPMC business units.
- Administer the UPMC HPP grant association with the UPMC Infectious Disease Unit
- Direct and manager the activities related to the UPMC Ebola Operations group and the Clinical Response Team.
- Supervise, direct and oversee department staff, including, but not limited to the Training Coordinator
Salary : $37 - $63
