Purpose:
Coordinate the credentialing process for initial appointment and reappointment for the medical and allied health professional staff. Manage the compliance to ensure all individuals with clinical privileges provide services within the scope of their training, licensure and individual clinical privileges granted.
Responsibilities:
- Review and verify credentialing documents.
- Identify and address discrepancies.
- Obtain and validate practitioner data.
- Ensure accurate credentialing information.
- Implement re-credentialing processes.
- Maintain knowledge of accreditation standards.
- Forward calls and individuals as needed.
- Coordinate event logistics.
- Ensure practitioners operate within their scope.
- Initiate additional verifications.
- Enter and maintain credentialing data.
- Assist with Medical Staff activities.
- Collect and compile data from CVO.
- Validate data accuracy.
- Support physician performance assessment.
- Coordinate office maintenance and supplies.
- Review and correct CVO data.
- Maintain credentialing schedules.
- Create physician profiles.
- Manage credentialing processes.
