Provide direct patient care under RN supervision, assisting with daily activities such as bathing, feeding, transporting, toileting, and ambulation.

Maintain a safe and clean environment by performing safety checks, organizing patient rooms, changing linens, and ensuring hallways remain clear of equipment.

Acquire and distribute supplies and equipment to support patient care, including messenger functions, ordering and stocking items, and setting up necessary patient care equipment.

Assist with nourishments and hydration, delivering meals, filling water pitchers, and distributing patient mail.

Perform core nursing assistant tasks, including vital signs, blood glucose monitoring, weights, intake & output, specimen collection, Foley care, and telemetry monitor application.

Communicate patient status and changes to the RN and healthcare team, providing feedback on care and reporting any concerns.

Assist in preventing complications by applying/reapplying TEDs/SCDs, supporting fall prevention efforts, and monitoring for hospital-acquired conditions.

Maintain proper documentation in medical records and complete clerical tasks as needed.

Comply with safety protocols, infection control policies, and emergency response procedures.

Foster team collaboration by supporting universal unit tasks, including answering call lights, passing meal trays, and transporting patients.
