UPMC Williamsport Hospital is looking for a dedicated Casual Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team. This role offers daylight hours with opportunities for both weekday and weekend shifts. Plus, you can expand your experience by working at our other campuses in North Central PA, including UPMC Muncy, UPMC Lock Haven, and UPMC Wellsboro, if desired. One weekend per month is required.

- Schedule patients to meet productivity standards while delivering quality care.
- Provide home instructions to patients and families as needed.
- Supervise and mentor occupational therapy assistants and students.
- Stay current with professional licensure through continuing education.
- Adapt and modify treatment plans based on patient progress and status changes.
- Participate in staff meetings and in-service education programs.
Qualifications:
- Valid professional license/registration in occupational therapy.
- Strong clinical skills in a specialty area of occupational therapy.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

- Education: Graduate of an accredited program approved by The Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE).
- Licensure: Active occupational therapy license in the practicing state is required.
- Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification, based on AHA standards, including both a didactic and skills demonstration component, within 30 days of hire.
- National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification.
- Occupational Therapist (OT) certification.
