During training you'll primarily work out of the Somerset office and once trained, float to the Berlin office.
Responsibilities:
- Greet all patients warmly.
- Guide patients through self-arrival technology or check them in at the desk.
- Collect copayments and other applicable payments at the point of service.
- Confirm or update patient registration information at checkout.
- Schedule follow-up appointments and connect patients to ancillary services.
- Help patients navigate the healthcare system with clear instructions.
- Register patients in the Biometrics program and explain its benefits.
- Promote and assist with MyUPMC patient portal registration.
- Confirm insurance benefits and obtain consent signatures following HIPAA rules.
- Assist with administrative duties like scanning medical records and faxing.
Salary : $17 - $26
