This role offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM—with no weekends or holidays required—making it a great opportunity for work-life balance. While primarily based in Franklin, this position includes minimal travel (approximately 10%) and provides a unique chance to be part of a dynamic and supportive healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients warmly and guide them through self-arrival technology or check-in based on preference.
  • Collect copayments and applicable patient payments at the point of service.
  • Confirm or update patient registration information and schedule follow-up or ancillary appointments at checkout.
  • Help patients navigate the healthcare system with clear and understandable instructions.
  • Provide follow-up to unresolved patient questions to ensure continuity of care.
  • Register patients in the Biometrics program and explain its benefits.
  • Promote and assist with MyUPMC patient portal registration.
  • Educate patients on financial responsibilities and connect them to advocacy resources as needed.
  • Verify insurance benefits through online systems or phone and obtain necessary patient signatures for consent.
  • Distribute or triage phone calls appropriately and assist with office administrative tasks such as scanning and faxing.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Salary : $18 - $27
