Responsibilities:

• Actively engages in quality improvement efforts within the department, identifying opportunities for enhancement and presenting them to colleagues and management.
• Takes personal responsibility for elevating patient satisfaction and the quality of care and service provided.
• Utilizes research and evidence-based practices to drive clinical care improvements, identifying relevant studies and issues related to their specialty.
• Establishes and maintains positive, caring relationships with executives, physicians, non-physician providers, support staff, and patients/families.
• Demonstrates the ability to navigate a complex environment, effectively managing multiple priorities and using specialized equipment.
• Exhibits strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills in various aspects of patient care.
• Applies critical thinking to lead and guide others in using the nursing process effectively.
• Provides detailed patient and family education, utilizing adult learning principles and creating a supportive environment for patient understanding and engagement.
• Collaborates with physicians in patient care, formulating holistic care plans, triaging situations, and coordinating care.
