Responsibilities:
- Actively engages in department quality improvement initiatives, identifying and communicating opportunities for enhancing care and service to colleagues and management.
- Takes personal responsibility for patient satisfaction, using evidence-based practices and research to support clinical care improvements and addressing relevant research issues.
- Establishes positive relationships with executives, healthcare providers, and patients, fostering collaboration and communication across departments.
- Demonstrates strong clinical judgment and critical thinking, adeptly managing multiple priorities and navigating complex environments while ensuring patient safety and care quality.
- Applies adult learning principles in teaching patients, families, and new staff, providing comprehensive guidance throughout the care process and encouraging feedback for continuous improvement.
- Formulates individualized care plans in partnership with patients, coordinating with physicians and addressing clinical, social, and emotional needs effectively.
- Actively participates in professional development and shared governance, supporting quality improvement initiatives and adapting to changes in the practice environment.
