Occasional travel may be required to Johnstown, PA
This position is primarily administrative nurse work and only some hands-on patient care, approx. 90% admin & 10% patient care. The admin work consists of scheduling, phone calls with other physicians, patient families, law enforcement, Child services, etc., filling out forms, ordering supplies, and pre-authorizations.
A SANE background or a candidate who is willing to learn as this position helps with sexual assault exams and kits is strongly preferred.
The Senior Professional Staff Nurse, a Registered Nurse, is a key member of the care team, responsible for setting care standards and ensuring quality.
