UpNorth Distribution seeks a Sales Processor Specialist whose primary role is to assist our sales department with processing assistance and provide general sales support as needed.
Additionally, you will provide management of internal Salesforce/SCM that will help to guide sales strategy and overall company success while continuously improving sales processes internally to maximize revenue growth. This position requires that you are skilled in gathering and organizing data to generate deeper customer insight in order to expand the usefulness of our inventory management platform/CRM. The right candidate will be enthusiastic, have exceptional customer service skills, have experience gathering data-driven analytics, be flexible in day-to-day functions, and thrive in a fast paced work environment.

Responsibilities
- Develop strong rapport with the Sales team and interdepartmental heads; act as liaison should issues arise.
- Record information and ensure quality of data in Salesforce and other internal systems that support sales.
- Provide troubleshooting assistance for customer orders, inventory allocations, and inventory problems.
- Stay up to date with new product launches and ensure the sales team are alerted to intakes.
- Investigate inventory system discrepancies; quickly find and finalize solutions to correct issues.
- Daily update of sales menu for the three corresponding zones
- Collaborate with warehouse employees to ensure inventory within the system is accurate and up to date.
- Staying up to date on where inventory is located.
- Maintain flexibility in day-to-day operations as different issues arise
- Work closely with Sales to provide information regarding new inventory units, out of stock products, and products with low quantities.
- Provide excellent customer service to customers when needed, including an immediate response time.
- Provide daily, weekly and monthly order status reports as requested by management.
- Process orders, returns, exchanges, cancellations, and price adjustments as needed in accordance with established work instructions (SOP’s); adhere to order cut-off schedules.
- Analyze data regarding inventory activity and company trends to anticipate future needs across warehouses.
- Leverage insights gained from sales team members to provide feedback and direction to management, operations and accounting.
- Aid in training and support of all key sales tools within Salesforce to the Sales Team
- Respond to inbound requests from our Sales team; provide support by assisting with sales procedures; enter new orders, track orders, investigate shipping issues, and manage customer accounts where needed.
- Support sales team with pricing and inventory allocations; collaborate with Sales head to understand price lists and price variances.
- Assist sales team with tracking of allotted strains and tracking down units if reps are oversold.
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years minimum of sales, office, marketing, or other customer-facing experience desired; bachelor’s degree or similar work related experience preferred.
- Proficiency in multi-channel support tools such as Salesforce.
- Experience in working with or within a fast paced sales team
- Experience drawing actionable insights from data sets in their most common forms (Excel, Business Objects, Salesforce, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong computer / analytical skills (Salesforce, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and proven ability to learn new tools and databases).
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
- Comfortable communicating with customers and able to maintain a calm and friendly presence throughout each customer interaction.
- Ability to understand high-level inventory management; translate information into systems and processes as it relates to reporting.
- Work well under pressure to meet deadlines and targets.
- Skilled in prioritizing and triaging obligations.
- Excellent time management and organization, attention to detail, critical thinking and subsequent problem solving skills.
- Ability to leverage resources within the company to get to right answers and achieve resolution through personal leadership.
- Knowledge of the California Cannabis Industry is a plus.

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
