Job Summary:
This position involves staging mixed material hoppers on the production floor, disposing of scrap material, and preparing PEX Tools for extrusion. As a key member of our team, you will operate Mixers at a high efficiency level, handle raw materials, and maintain work areas by keeping all tools and equipment in designated areas.
Responsibilities:
- Operate all tool processing equipment
- Document data on Production Logs
- Communicate with leads and supervisors of the mixing and tooling group
- Dispose of scrap material
- Seek opportunities to contribute to business success through proactive involvement in lean initiatives
Requirements:
- High school education or equivalent is required
- Basic computer skills are required
- Basic mechanical and technical skills are required
- Must be able to problem solve, multitask/prioritize, and pay attention to detail
- Must be able to work a 12-hour shift
- Manufacturing experience of 1-3 years is preferred but not required
