Key Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and financial records.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
- Prepare invoices, checks, and deposit slips.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and budgets.
- Handle escrow and trust account transactions in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Perform data entry and maintain accounting databases.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Respond to inquiries from vendors, clients, and staff regarding financial matters.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in related field preferred.
- Experience in Bookkeeping.
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting principles and practices.
- Experience with financial analysis.
- Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
