What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager position at Upper Cumberland Development District?
The Project Manager objective is to be responsible for the overall operation and success of the real property asset. Project Managers maintain property occupancy by advertising and filling vacancies, enforcing leases, and maintaining the premises.
The Project Manager (PM) will accomplish financial objectives by collecting rents and paying bills. The PM will attract residents by advertising vacancies; obtaining referrals from current residents; explaining advantages of location and service and showing units. The property will be investigated by PM and PM will resolving resident complaints; enforcing rules of occupancy; inspecting vacant units and complete repairs; plan renovations, and contract with landscaping. PM will enforce occupancy policies and procedures, be responsible for lease administration; preparing lease agreements, and ensure lease files are complete and orderly. Files are required to be maintained by compliance with the governing funding source. In addition to the above, any other duties assigned by the Housing & Family Services Director or the UCDD Executive Director.
High school education or equivalent. Three to five years of HUD multi-family residential management experience preferred but not required, two years of supervisory responsibility; knowledge of property management principles and practices. Possession of valid Tennessee Driver’s License.
