Qualifications :
- PA Instructional Certificate (Special Education PK-12)

- BA required in appropriate major study
- Knowledge of content in area of certification
- Classroom / group management skills
- Ability to use instructional materials and equipment
- Knowledge of child growth and development
- Instructional skills

- Human Relations Skills
- Must be able to organize a classroom to deliver the Upper Darby School District academic program
- Strong communication and motivational skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with, instruct, and work with students, staff and parents / guardians
- Job Goal :
To participate, as a member of the instructional staff, in directing the learning of elementary school students. Such participation shall be directed toward attainment of general and specific objectives of the curricula of the school, and of the school district.
