Overview:
Upper Dauphin Area School District is seeking a dedicated Speech and Language Pathologist to join our team and provide high-quality speech and language services to school-age children eligible for special education services. This role involves evaluating, diagnosing, and treating communication disorders to support student success in the classroom and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide speech and language programming, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment, for students with communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student learning.
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, progress reports, and compliance records.
- Utilize evidence-based practices to support language development and communication skills.
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff training, and professional development opportunities.
- Education: Master’s Degree in Speech/Language Pathology.
- Certification: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) (CFY candidates considered). PA Instructional I or II Certificate in Speech Correction or Educational Specialist.
Salary : $50,431 - $82,807
