POSITION TITLE: Extended School Year Special Education Teacher (Middle School or Hereford Elementary)
REPORTS TO: Director of Special Education/ Special Education Supervisor
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- 7/7/25- 7/31/25
- Monday - Thursday
- 8:30AM-12:30PM
- MUST attend a one day MANDATORY three hour training held in June 2025
QUALIFICATIONS:

PDE Special Education Certification
- Experience with Special Education is preferred.

Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with others as part of a team.

Must have good organizational skills, maintain confidentiality and be flexible.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Implement goals and objectives identified in IEPs
- Support Students who receive special education services.
- Reinforce appropriate or replacement behavior or provide scheduled reinforcement.
- Document progress toward the student's goals.

Attend District training sessions.

- Child Abuse Clearance (Act 151)
- FBI Fingerprint Clearance (Act 114)
- School Personnel Health Form (Physical and TB test)
