Pine Lake Preparatory, a North Carolina A rated public charter school, has an opening for a School Testing and Accountability Coordinator. This position is responsible for oversight of all aspects of testing and assessment within the school. The Testing and Accountability Coordinator ensures the effective administration of state and federal assessments, manages test data, ensures compliance with educational standards, and supports student performance improvement. Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
- Oversee the scheduling, preparation, and execution of all state, federal and district assessments (e.g. standardized testing, formative assessments, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with test protocols and maintain the integrity of the testing process, as well as ensuring the school district adheres to all state and federal accountability requirements related to standardized testing and student performance.
- Create Comprehensive Testing plan each year for submission to the Regional Area Coordinator (RAC).
- Create a budget and testing plan for Summer Remediation. Present to the Board of Directors and submit to RAC.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret test data to monitor student performance trends and inform instructional decisions.
- Review, prepare, and submit reports to district, state, and federal agencies.
- Directs testing administration programs and provides professional development and training for staff on assessment administration, results interpretation, and effective us of data in instructional planning.
- Collaborates with school leadership, teachers, and other staff to ensure alignment between assessments and curriculum stands, and serves as a liaison between the school and external testing agencies.
Desirable applicants should have at minimum a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Administration or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred. Candidates should have proven experience in educational testing, assessment or accountability roles, and should possess strong knowledge of state and federal education laws, testing regulations, and accountability systems. Strong interpersonal, analytical, written and verbal communication skills are critical. Professionalism and the ability to work independently are key.

This is a full-time, 11-month position with a base salary range of $50,000 - $55,000, dependent upon experience. There will also be one of pay for additional summer work.
