Overview
We are seeking a Service Coordinator in our Family Supportive Housing (FSH) program. The FSH Service Coordinator is an experienced professional who will work intensively with individuals and families who are facing the risk of homelessness or are currently homeless by providing housing case management and coordination of services. The role of the FSH Service Coordinator is to work collaboratively with agencies and community partners to provide resources and support to FSH clients to ensure the acquisition of life skills and access to resources that will lead to permanent housing and a positive quality of life. They establish and maintain positive, supportive relationships and assess the strengths and barriers program participants have for maintaining permanent housing. They provide trauma-informed support consistent with the stage of change and severity of trauma individuals have experienced or are experiencing.

Compensation
This is a full-time position with a salary range of $52,000 to $56,000 depending on education and experience. This position offers a hybrid work schedule with some remote time due to supporting families in homes within the community.
Requirements
Critical to the success of this position are:
- An understanding of the complexities of poverty and people living in generational or situational poverty
- Strong advocacy and crisis-management skills
- Creativity, flexibility, resiliency, and empathy
- Ability to work both independently and in collaboration with co-workers and community partners
- An ability to use a strengths-based approach to build relationships and solve problems
- Knowledge of family systems and child development and trauma
- Able to manage 12 to 15 clients
- Strict attention to detail and maintenance of appropriate records
- Demonstrate the highest ethical standards and maintains confidentiality
- Must have a valid driver's license
Qualified applicants will have a Bachelor's degree, Master's preferred, in Human Services, Social Work, or a related field and have experience working with families with complex needs.
