Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Group Leader to oversee and guide our programs for Adults with developmental disability. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with adults, fostering their development through engaging activities, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- This position may require 40 hours per week.
The DTA group leader’s primary responsibilities are to:
1. Provide recommendations and suggestions to the Professional Therapists
2. Assure that the premises are clean and maintained. Communicate any deficiencies to the Safety Officer.
3. Follow the policies and procedures manual of Upper Valley Options, Inc. and provide guidance to staff in regards to the proper application.
4. Act as a role model to all employees and participants
5. Maintain absolute participant confidentiality
6. Other duties and responsibilities as directed by the Administrator, Assistant Administrator, or Professional Therapist
7. Make daily schedule for staff to follow, as a group leader you will be working with Adults the have a developmental disability.
Specifically, the DTA Group Leader must:
1. Reconcile sign in and out sheets, and participant CSRs to ensure all records are accurate
2. Assure that all paperwork is turned in and complete at the end of each week
3. Review daily Task Analysis (TAs) and Continuing Service Records (CSRs) to ensure accuracy and completeness.
4. Ensure that time is being recorded accurately and in compliance with State and Federal regulations.
5. Report any concerns or allegations of suspected improper business practices to the Ethics Officer for investigation.
Qualifications:
- Must submit to fingerprinting and background check through the State of Idaho.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and supply proof of insurance.
- Demonstrate organization and interpersonal skills.
- Must attain First Aid and CPR certification within 90 days of regular employment.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
