As we continue to expand our offerings, we’re seeking a Senior Product Manager to take ownership of our product development roadmap, enhance our go-to-market (GTM) strategies for new products, and optimize our existing portfolio of programs.
About the Role
As Senior Product Manager, you will lead the strategy, development, and growth of Upright’s product portfolio. You’ll work cross-functionally with leadership, marketing, admissions, curriculum, and outcomes teams to ensure our programs effectively meet market demand, drive enrollment, and deliver career-ready outcomes. Your role will focus on:
- Owning the Product Roadmap: Define and execute a strategic roadmap for Upright’s current and future programs, ensuring alignment with company goals and industry trends.
- New Product Development & Launch: Research, validate, and launch new bootcamp programs in high-demand areas such as Cybersecurity, AI Software Development, and more.
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Partner with marketing and sales teams to create compelling positioning, messaging, and launch strategies that drive awareness, adoption, and enrollment.
- Product Performance & Optimization: Monitor product performance metrics, learner success outcomes, and market feedback to continuously refine and improve offerings.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with curriculum designers, admissions, learner success, and outcomes teams to ensure seamless execution and impact across the learner journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and own the product roadmap, prioritizing initiatives that drive growth, profitability, and learner success.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and user insights to inform product strategy.
- Drive end-to-end product development, from ideation to launch and ongoing iteration.
- Lead GTM efforts, including positioning, pricing, messaging, and collaboration with marketing and sales teams.
- Monitor key product and business metrics to assess product success and identify areas for improvement.
- Partner with internal teams to ensure programs meet employer expectations, accreditation standards, and learner needs.
- Champion a data-driven, user-centered approach to decision-making.

Work Location & Flexibility
This is a hybrid role based in New York, NY. While some remote work is available, the primary place of work will be our New York office. Candidates should be comfortable working in-office regularly to collaborate with key stakeholders and drive product initiatives effectively.
