What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Superintendent position at Uprite Construction?
The Superintendent will be responsible for managing daily on-site operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with safety and quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of ground-up construction.
What You'll Do :
- Oversee all phases of ground-up construction projects from start to completion.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure efficient workflow.
- Enforce safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized job site.
- Monitor project schedules and budgets, identifying and resolving potential delays.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure work meets Uprite Construction’s quality standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to address challenges and ensure smooth execution.
- Maintain detailed project documentation, including daily reports and progress updates.
- Must have experience in ground-up construction.
- Previous experience as a Superintendent working for a general contractor is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schedules, and project plans.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools is a plus.
