LPN or RN Position – Spokane Valley
Upriver Place is an 8-bed Enhanced Services Facility. We provide care for individuals with chronic and persistent mental health conditions. Upriver Place operates 24/7 with nursing staff, caregivers, and an on-site Mental Health Professional available 8 hours per day.
We are seeking a professional, qualified, and enthusiastic RN or LPN to join our team. The ESF model follows a state-mandated staffing ratio of 4:1.
Position Overview:
The RN or LPN will be responsible for patient care, medication administration, and crisis intervention in collaboration with the care team.
Current Opening:
Day shift - Monday through Friday - 7am to 3pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular resident assessments.
- Coordinate and facilitate medical appointments (in-house and off-site).
- Assist and support residents, ensuring all safety measures are followed per care plan.
- Maintain professional relationships with residents, healthcare providers, and mental health professionals.
- Schedule and manage resident appointments.
- Complete all required continuing education.
- Engage residents in self-directed activities.
- Provide on-call support as needed.
Qualifications:
- Active LPN or RN license in Washington State.
- CPR/First Aid certification.
- Washington State Food Handler’s Card.
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of nursing practices and procedures.
Additional Requirements:
- 12 hours of in-service training and 12 hours of Population-Specific Training annually.

Compensation:
- RN: $40–$45 per hour (DOE)
- LPN: $38–$40 per hour
