We are seeking a highly motivated and friendly Cashier/Sales professional to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing transactions and providing exceptional customer service.
Some Saturdays and Sundays each month will be scheduled so must be available on the weekend. We like to make every customer experience memorable and have fun while working!
Ideal candidate would have knowledge of printing, copying, faxing and laminating. Knowledge of applications Microsoft Word, Publisher, Excel, Adobe, and InDesign experience a plus but not required.
For reference the hours we are open:
Monday through Friday 8am-7pm, Saturday 9am-4pm, and Sunday 11am-4pm.
Job duties would include:
· Shipping packages (Typing in address for customer and recipient, measuring and weighing boxes)
· Scanning in items to ship (drop offs)
· Packing items for customers (wrapping and boxing)
· Restocking boxes and supplies
· No lifting restrictions (must be able to lift 50 lbs. without issue)
· Must be able to be on feet for extended amounts of time while working
· Faxing
· Copying
· Printing
· Laminating
· Charging customers for items (shipping, printing, retail items)
· Mailboxes (Getting items for customers and scanning and putting away packages/mail) as well as creating new mailbox agreements, renewing and canceling agreements.
· Cleaning duties such as wiping down counters, dusting, vacuuming and mopping
· Taking out trash when needed
- Other administration duties would also be within the job role once trained
Duties:
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients in person, by phone, and email.
- Answer inquiries and resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner
- Assist customers with product information, pricing, and shipping status
- Process customer transactions accurately
- Operate a cash register with accuracy and efficiency, handling cash, credit card transactions, and other forms of payment.
- Assist customers with purchases, answering questions and addressing concerns in a professional manner.
- Utilize point-of-sale (POS) technology to accurately record and process transactions.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including stocking shelves and managing inventory.
- Utilize knowledge of products to effectively communicate features and benefits to customers, driving sales through upselling and cross-selling.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills, including phone etiquette and in-store communication.
- Perform basic mathematical calculations to balance cash register and process transactions.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge of store products and services to provide informed assistance to customers.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment, contributing to the success of the team.

Qualifications:

- Basic math skills.
- Strong phone etiquette and in-store communication skills.
- Familiarity with store operations is an asset.
