Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting and selling our products, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. This can be a fast pace enviroment, so we value efficiency.
Duties:
- Greet customers and assist them as soon as they walk through the door
- Recommend additional items or upsell products to increase sales
- Process sales transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Assist with inventory management and restocking shelves as needed
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals
- Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends
Requirements:
- Previous experience in retail sales is preferred
- Strong communication skills in English; fluency in Spanish is a plus
- Ability to effectively engage with customers and build rapport
- Proficient in using POS systems and other retail technology
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
