UPS Supply Chain Solutions is offering competitive rates, seeking immediate opportunities for Independent Contract Vendors for local delivery services in the (Omaha, NE) area.
As an independent contractor, you are not being hired by UPS Supply Chain Solutions. You are the business owner of your business or company.
Contract Rate: $14.50 base rate for the first 14 miles and then $1.20 for each mile over 15 miles. Additional compensation for nights, weekends and holidays.
Flexible schedule - As an Independent Contract Vendor you have the flexibility to choose your own schedule. Great for retiree's, students and others needing flexible hours.
You should:
- Be knowledgeable of the local area
- Have a dependable car
- Proof of insurance (bodily injury liability of $100,000 per person and $300,000 per incident and $50,000 property damage liability is required)
- Two forms of ID (Drivers License, Social Security Card, Birth Certificate, and/or Passport)
- A good DMV record
- A vehicle registration
- Smartphone with minimum 3G capability and is either an Android or an iPhone
- A business license (required - it can be the most basic business license your city, local or state government issues. We don’t need the business license number until 60 days after you become a vendor.)
